season
following that which featured "The Fix", so this would be 1986/87 - in
fact
according to Miami Vice.org the episode was first shown 13/02/87. The track
featured was the instrumental version of "Jewel" that appeared on the
original LP version of "A Secret Wish" (ZTTIQ3), and was played during
a
drug bust sequence. Not the whole track is played - the intro is missing,
and the track fades out during the "long scream" portion.

album
Luc Besson's 1985 movie "Subway", starring Christopher Lambert, also
features a track by Propaganda, but for some odd reason not in all versions
of the movie. In fact, Ralf Dorper even wrote a letter to the British music
magazine NME in 1989 concerning this rather odd matter. Below is the
information as it is listed on the Internet Movie Database.
"An alternate version has been shown on television in the UK. During the
car
chase sequence, the music (titled "Speedway" on the soundtrack album)
has
been replaced with the song "The Murder Of Love" by German band
Propaganda."
Now apparently the song did not feature at all when the movie was originally
shown in cinemas, and the version I saw with "The Murder Of Love" did
not
list the song in the movie's end credits. It must only feature in a TV
version - why is a mystery to me, to be honest...
